Aija Izaks
Aija Izaks (born June 27, 1969 in Kārsava ( Latvia ) as Aija Nagle ) is a Latvian -American violinist and model .
Career
At the age of 18, Izaks studied violin at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory for the Gifted and at the Emīls Dārziņš University in Riga . Aija Izaks completed her Masters at the Latvian Music Academy Jāzeps Vītols . It was considered the Best Graduate of the Year . She worked at the Latvian National Opera in Riga as well as with other orchestras before moving to the USA, where she also received American citizenship. During this time she has repeatedly worked as a soloist , chamber music partner or in somewhat larger ensembles. There were bigger appearances with the former President George HW Bushand former First Lady Laura Bush as well as with the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra and at the party at Super Bowl XXXVIII .
Additionally, Izaks received the title of Ms. Lone Star State America 2016 , where she received the gold medal from former President Barack Obama . In addition, as Lady Texas in 2017 , she became the State Representative for the State of Texas (National Pageant in New Orleans, Louisiana).
