Aiko
Aiko is both a German male first name and a Japanese female first name.
Origin and meaning of the name
In Germany, the name occurs mainly in northern Germany as a variant of the name Eike , which is widespread there, and is derived from the Old High German "Ekka" (for "tip", "blade") or "sword", or the Germanic "agjō-" (" Sword ").
In Japan, the meaning of the name is not clear, as different Kanji spellings are used, which have different meanings. The second part of the name (-ko) is a common part of the name of female Japanese first names.
