The river Aille ( Irish : Abhainn na hAille ) has its source at Slieve Elva ( Sliabh Eilbhe ) in the Burren area. It flows through the town of Lisdoonvarna to drain into the sea at Doolin near the Cliffs of Moher . During the summer the river often seeps into the limestone cave system at Doolin.
