Aimé Césaire is the name of a tunnel station under construction on line 12 of the Paris Métro . It is located in Aubervilliers , Seine-Saint-Denis department , a few kilometers north of the Paris city limits. The main entrance will be on Place Henri-Rol-Tanguy.
The station is scheduled to open in 2021. It is part of the extension of three stations from Porte de la Chapelle to Aubervilliers. Planning for this extension began in 2000, and construction work began in October 2007. The commissioning of the first section to Front Populaire took place on December 18, 2012.
The project name for this station was Pont de Stains .
