Mairie d'Aubervilliers is the name of a tunnel station under construction on line 12 of the Paris Métro . It is located in Aubervilliers , Seine-Saint-Denis department , a few kilometers north of the Paris city limits. The main entrance will be on Place de la Mairie, in the immediate vicinity of the eponymous town hall.
The station is scheduled to open in 2021. It is part of the extension of three stations from Porte de la Chapelle to Aubervilliers. Planning for this extension began in 2000, and construction work began in October 2007. The commissioning of the first section to Front Populaire took place on December 18, 2012.
The future line 15 of Métro Paris will also have a stop at this station.
