Aimeric de Péguilhan (* around 1170 in Péguilhan , † around 1230 ) was an Occitan troubadour. In the years from 1195 to 1230 he was active as a poet.

Aimeric's first patron was Raymond V. Von Toulouse . His lyric poetry is primarily characterized by formal perfection, but less by original themes. 54 lyrics and six melodies by Aimeric have survived.

Aimerics creative period falls within the period of Albingenserkriege (1209-1229). During this time the Occitan courts, which had previously supported the troubadors ideally and practically, were in decline. Occitan love experienced its last heyday during this time in northern Spain and northern Italy. In these areas Aimeric sought his livelihood as a professional singer.
