Ainslie Pryor (born February 1, 1921 in Memphis , Tennessee , † May 27, 1958 in Hollywood , California ) was an American actor .
In his brief acting career with a supporting role in the movie 1955 The girl on the red Samtschaukel ( "The Girl in the Red Velvet Swing") began Pryor occurred mainly in television series on. He appears in most of the episodes of The Strange Adventures of Hiram Holliday as the reporter "Joel Smith", who accompanies the main character Hiram Holliday on his world tour. Ainslie Pryor died of cancer in May 1958 at the age of only 37.
