The Aitken Nunatak is a small nunatak that rises at an altitude of 2,785 m about 5 km southwest of Mount Bumstead in the Grosvenor Mountains of the Transantarctic Mountains .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it after William M. Aitken, aurora researcher for the United States Antarctic Research Program at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in 1962.
