history
The first issue of the monthly Akant was published in January 1998.
profile
Akant sees itself as a magazine in which poetry , prose , literary criticism , interviews with writers , literary reports and cultural reflections are published independently of the author's ideological and political convictions .
editorial staff
Jolanta Baziak has been editor-in-chief of the monthly magazine since 1997 . Stefan Pastuszewski is the editorial secretary.
Tadeusz Zubiński and Liliana Zubińska were part of the editorial team . Furthermore wrote Jan Twardowski , Bogusława Latawiec , Józef Ratajczak , Adriana Szymańska , Leszek Angel King , Stefan Jurkowski , Bohdan Zadura , Krzysztof Lisowski , Karol Maliszewski , Magdalena Rabizo-Birek and January Tomkowski for Akant .
