Akha is the language of the Southeast Asian Akha ethnic group , whose members are in Burma (mainly in Shan State ), the People's Republic of China (in the southwest of Yunan ), Laos (Phongsali and Luang Namtha province ), Thailand ( Chiang Mai , Chiang Rai and Mae Hong Son ) and live in the northwest of Vietnam ( Quang Binh and Quang Tri provinces ). The language is considered a dialect of the Hani in China .

The Akha language is a tone language with three tones and has little or no affiliation . Questions are presented with a final question particle.
