Warmatsgundtal

The Warmatsgundtal is a side valley of the Birgsau valley near Oberstdorf in the Allgäu .

From the Fellhornbahn near Faistenoy it extends in a south-westerly direction up to the Fiderepass ( 2035  m ) and is traversed by the Warmatsgundbach . Enclosed by mountains like the Gundkopf ( Griesgundkopf , Alpgundkopf , Roßgundkopf ) and Oberstdorfer Hammerspitze , Walser Hammerspitze , Warmatsgundkopf , it is partly in the Allgäu High Alps nature reserve .
