The Alpgundkopf is a 2177 m high mountain in the Allgäu Alps . It lies in the group of the Schafalpenköpfe northeast of the Roßgundkopf , from which it is separated by the Alpgundscharte . In the southeast of the 383 meters away, temperatures are lower Alpkopf and the 1,035 meters away small Guggersee .
Ascent
There is no marked path to the Alpgundkopf. It can be reached without a path from the Alpgundscharte, although this climb requires sure-footedness and mountain experience. All other climbs are not recommended because of the fragile rock.
