The Roßgundkopf (alternatively also Rossgundkopf ) is a 2139 m high mountain peak in the Allgäu Alps . It lies in the group of Schafalpenköpfe northeast of the Roßgundscharte and southwest of the Alpgundscharte and the Alpgundkopf .
Ascent
There is no marked path leading to the Roßgundkopf. It can be reached without a path from the Roßgundscharte, although this climb requires sure-footedness and mountain experience. All other climbs are not recommended because of the fragile rock. It is therefore very rarely climbed.
