Akinobu Yokouchi ( Japanese 横 内 昭 展 , Yokouchi Akinobu ; born November 30, 1967 in Fukuoka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Yokouchi learned to play soccer on the school team at Tokai University Daigo High School . He signed his first contract with Mazda in 1986 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League . In 1987 he reached the final of the Imperial Cup . At the end of the 1987/88 season, the club was relegated to Division 2. In 1990/91 he was runner-up in Division 2 with the club and was promoted to Division 1. With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Mazda became Sanfrecce Hiroshima . In 1994 he was runner-up in the J1 League with the club . For the club he completed 26 first division games. At the end of 1995 he ended his career as a football player.
