Aklasis Ežeras

Aklasis Ežeras (dt. 'Blind lake') is a village in Lithuania , in the administrative district of Šilai , in the Rajongemeinde Jonava ( district of Kaunas ), 12 km northeast of the city of Jonava , on the A6 highway ( Kaunas - Zarasai - Daugpilis ). Aklasis Ežeras is a center of the sub-district ( Seniūnaitija ). In the village there is the seat of the Pageležiai forestry ( Jonava forestry chief ). 105 inhabitants live in the village (2011). In 1959 there were 393 inhabitants (around 300 in 1970 and only 136 in 1984).
