Alexis Peltz

Alexis Peltz (born May 4, 1831 in Weißenbrunn near Zwickau , † October 6, 1894 in Leipzig ) was a Saxon manor owner and member of parliament.

Life

Alexis Peltz was born as the son of the manor owner Julius Peltz on Weißenbrunn and Steinpleis and Emilie born. Meyer born. After attending high school in Zwickau he studied at the Alma Mater Lipsiensis and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn cameralistics . In 1851 he became a member of the Corps Saxonia Leipzig . In 1852 he joined the Corps Borussia Bonn . After graduating, he became the owner of a manor in Ramsdorf . Peltz was a board member of the Erbländischer Ritterschaftlichen Creditverein in Saxony zu Leipzig and the State Debt Commission as well as board member of the Sparkasse zu Hohendorf bei Groitzsch . He was justice of the peace in Ramsdorf and honorary chairman of the local military association.

In 1863 Peltz was elected deputy representative of the manor owners to the first chamber of the Saxon state parliament for the Leipzig district . In 1873 he was elected a deputy for the manor owners for life.

Peltz died in the Jacobshospital in Leipzig in 1894 . He was married to Emma Agnes geb. Baumann.
