The Akpa language (also akweya ; ISO 639-3 is akf ) is an idomoid language that belongs to its subgroup of the Yatye Akpa languages.
The Akpa is spoken by a total of 26,900 people in the Nigerian state of Benue in 2000 .
The language and its subgroup Yatye-Akpa belongs to the subgroup of the Yace languages within the idomoid languages.
