Akraia

Akraia ( Greek  Ἀκραία ), also Acräa , is a naiad of Greek mythology .

According to Pausanias , Akraia was a daughter of the river god Asterion and, together with her sisters Euboia and Prosymna, the nurse of the goddess Hera . The hill opposite the Heraion of Argos is named after her, the opposite hill after her sister Euboia and after Prosymna the landscape below the Heraion .
