Aksana Zalatarova
Aksana Zalatarova (born February 18, 1984 ) is an Israeli weightlifter .
Career
Originally from Belarus, Zalatarova first took part in world championships in 2002 , where she finished 17th in the class up to 58 kg. In 2006 she reached fourth place at the European championships in the class up to 69 kg and 15th place at the world championships . At the European Championships in 2007 she was sixth. In the same year, however, she was banned until 2009 because of a doping violation . In 2012 she started for Israel for the first time and was seventh in the class up to 53 kg at the World University Championships. She was eighth at the 2014 European Championships in Israel.
