Aktion Pro Humanität is a humanitarian aid organization . It is registered as a registered association in Germany and has existed since 1995. The first projects were initiated and carried out as early as 1993, but at that time still under the umbrella of the aid organization Cap Anamur . The Pro Humanity campaign was founded by the doctor Elke Kleuren-Schryvers and her husband Herbert Schryvers from Kevelaer, who died in 2006 .
The areas of operation include Benin and Niger . Among other things, the construction of wells and basic medical care are funded.
In 2002 the donation seal of the German Central Institute for Social Issues was awarded. Aktion Pro Humanität does not give any money to governments.
Foundation, endowment
In 2001 the APH Foundation was brought into being. In addition to entrepreneurs and donors, its board of trustees also includes medical experts and public figures such as B. Barbara Hendricks and the former Finance Minister of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Helmut Linssen , are represented.
