al-Hassan al-Yami ( Arabic الحسن اليامي, DMG al-Ḥasan al-Yāmī ; * August 21, 1972 in Khafji ) is a Saudi Arabian soccer player . He is nicknamed "The Bird".
Career
The trained striker played for al-Ittihad from 1996 . In the 2005/06 season he moved to Najran SC . al-Yami took part in the 2002 World Cup and was part of the team that lost 8-0 in a group game against Germany . He was used 21 times in the national team and scored five goals.
