al-Hawamidiyya ( Arabic الحوامدية, DMG al-Ḥawāmidiyya ) is a city in the Nile Delta of Egypt within the governorate of al-Jiza with around 150,000 inhabitants. The city is located in the south of the governorate on the west bank of the Nile .
