Al-Marrakushi is a small, free-standing impact crater in the southeast hemisphere of the visible part of the moon in the eastern part of the Mare Fecunditatis . It has a round, symmetrical shape. The inner walls slope evenly towards the center. The mare in its vicinity is marked by radiation material from the conspicuous crater Langrenus in a northeastern direction .
It was known as Langrenus D until it was renamed by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) in 1976 .
