al-Mundhir
al-Mundhir ( Arabic المنذر, DMG al-Munḏir ) († 888 ) was the sixth emir of Córdoba from 886 to 888 .
Al-Mundhir had been the most important military leader in the empire under his father, Muhammad I , and had already led the government in the emirate of Córdoba in the last years of his father's life . 886 al-Mundhir succeeded his father. He intensified the fight especially against the rebels under Umar ibn Hafsun in the south of Andalusia .
In July 888 he fell during the siege of the Bobastro fortress near Málaga . He was succeeded by his younger brother Abdallah .
