Abu l-Muzaffar Yusuf ibn Muhammad al-Muqtafi l-Mustanjid bi-'llah ( Arabic أبو المظفر يوسف بن محمد المقتفي المستنجد بالله, DMG Abū l-Muẓaffar Yūsuf b. Muḥammad al-Muqtafī l-Mustanǧid bi-'llāh ; * 1124 ; † December 20, 1170 ) was the thirty-second caliph from the Abbasid dynasty (1160–1170).
As the successor of his father al-Muqtafi (1136–1160), Al-Mustandschid (I.) continued to expand the power of the caliphs in Iraq . Above all, the last relations of subordination to the Seljuks were broken off. Al-Mustadī ' (1170–1180) was determined to be his successor .
