al-Shaab Club is a club from Sharjah , United Arab Emirates , which was founded in 1974. The club currently plays in the country's highest league, the UAE League . The club plays its home games at the Khalid Bin Mohammed Stadium. After being promoted to the first division in 1974, the club was relegated only twice, in 1992 and 1996. However, the club rose immediately after only one season in the second division. The club's greatest success was winning the cup in 1993.
