Al Singer

Al Singer (* 6. September 1909 in New York City , New York , USA as Abraham Singer , † 20th April 1961 in New York City, New York , USA ) was an American boxer of Jewish origin. He held the universal world title in lightweight from July 17, 1930 to November 14, 1930 .

In 2006, Singer was inducted into the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame .
