Alabama State Route 77 is a highway in the US state of Alabama that runs in a north-south direction.

The highway begins on US Highway 431 in La Fayette and ends north of Attalla again on US Highway 431. At Talladega , the State Route runs along the famous Talladega Superspeedway . Until the northern extension in Etowah County in 1961, it ended at Ashland . The section between Talladega and Lincoln was also designated US Highway 231 until 1985 .
