The Alago (also arago , aragu , argo and idoma nokwu ; ISO 639-3 is) is an idomoid language that is spoken by 35,100 inhabitants (as of 2000) in the Nigerian state of Nassarawa .

The Alago has four dialects: doma, agwatashi, keana and assaikio. The Alago ethnic group now mostly uses English as their second mother tongue. Some can also speak Hausa [hau] as a foreign language .
