Alan Burnett

Alan Burnett (* 1949 ) is an American screenplay and comic book writer . His best-known works include the cartoon series Ducktales and The New Batman Adventures .

Life and work

After graduating from Pompano Beach Senior High School in Pompano Beach, Florida, and the University of Florida, Burnett began working in the television industry. Since then he has worked as a screenwriter on cartoon series such as The Snorkels , The Gummy Bear Gang , Freakazoid , Batman: The Animated Series , Superman: The Animated Series and Batman Beyond , as well as the film Ducktales: Raiders of the Lost Lamp and for his work four Emmys won.

As a comic book author, Burnett has written for the series Superman / Batman (# 37-42) published by DC Comics , among others .
