Alan Gorrie
Alan Gorrie (born July 19, 1946 in Perth , Scotland ) is a British soul musician who became known as the singer and bassist of the Average White Band . Since 1971 he has been one of the founding members of the AWB, before that he played with his later colleague Onnie McIntyre from the Average White Band in the band Forever More , with which he stayed until the separation in 1982. He was also part of the 1989 reunification of the band. In addition to his main instrument, bass, Gorrie also plays guitar and keyboard .
