Alan "Al" Greene (born August 29, 1911 in Denver , Colorado , † March 12, 2001 in Mount Prospect , Illinois ) was an American water diver who won the bronze medal in diving from 3 meters at the 1936 Berlin Olympics -Board won.

At a time when the US water divers dominated, Greene was nominated for the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin . He finished third from the three-meter board behind his compatriots Richard Degener and Marshall Wayne . At the beginning of the same year , he was able to defeat his two opponents at the national indoor championships of the Amateur Athletic Union from the 1-meter board.

Overall, the Americans were able to win 10 of the 12 medals in diving at these Olympic Games.
