The alba Festival is the largest Albanian music festival in Europe and always takes place in Switzerland . All performing artists are from Albania or Kosovo or have roots there.
The open-air festival took place for the first time on June 29 and 30, 2019 on the Hardturm area in Zurich . The festival had over 20,000 visitors on the two days. The second festival planned for 2020 was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic . It should be made up for in 2021.
