The Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca , or UNIMIB for short , is a state university founded in 1998 with headquarters in Milan and Monza in the Italian region of Lombardy .

The university was officially founded on June 10, 1998.

Milan-Bicocca is a multidisciplinary university that offers a wide range of academic programs in different disciplines (dipartimenti) : business, computer science, statistics, law, education, sociology, medicine and surgery, mathematics, natural sciences, physics and astrophysics, chemistry, computer science , Biotechnology and psychology.
