Pontifical Faculty of Teresianum

The Pontifical Faculty Teresianum ( Italian Pontificia Facoltà Teologica Teresianum , Latin Pontificia Facultas Theologica Teresianum ) is a university under papal law in the Piazza di San Pancrazio in Rome. It is the international theological faculty of the Order of the Discalced Carmelites and was founded on July 16, 1935; In 1963 papal recognition was granted. Saverio Cannistrà OCD is the Chancellor ; President is Denis Chardonnens OCD.

In addition to theology, the university also teaches theological anthropology and Christian anthropology at the theological faculty . The Institute for Spirituality deals primarily with spiritual theology and the theology of spiritual life.

The “International Institute for theology of Pastoral Care for the Sicknesses Camillianum” of the Camillians was approved by the Holy See on April 28, 1987 and placed under the Teresianum.
