The University of Tuscia ( Italian : Università degli Studi della Tuscia ; Latin: Universitas Studiorum Tusciae ) is a state university in Viterbo , Lazio region, founded in 1979 . The name of the university refers to the landscape of Tuscany . The current rector of the university is Alessandro Ruggieri.
