The Università per stranieri “Dante Alighieri” di Reggio Calabria , or UNISTRADA for short , is a private university founded in 1984 with headquarters in Reggio Calabria in the Italian region of Calabria .
The university was founded in 1984 on the initiative of the local company “Dante Alighieri” and the municipality of Reggio Calabria; since 2007 it has had the legally recognized university status. The university only offers courses in Italian, culture and social affairs that certify knowledge of the Italian language.
