The University of Pisa ( Italian Università di Pisa ) is one of the oldest and most renowned universities in Italy . Together with the other two universities, Scuola Normale Superiore and Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, it shapes the university city of Pisa .
The polymath Galileo Galilei was both a student and a professor at this educational institution.
