The University for Foreigners Siena ( Italian Università per Stranieri di Siena ) is a state university for foreigners studying in Italy and is located in the old town of Siena . It was founded as a former part of the University of Siena and is now only one of two of its kind in Italy, alongside the University of Perugia for foreigners .
The university consists of only one faculty for Italian language and literature and the humanities department . The rector of the university is Monica Barni.
