The Università Europea di Roma ( "European University of Rome" ) is a private , state-recognized university based in Rome .

The Catholic University , founded in 2004, is supported by the religious order of the Legionaries of Christ and is part of the Red de Universidades Anáhuac . The university mainly offers postgraduate degrees (Masters).

The motto of the University of Vince in bono malum. is derived from Noli vinci a malo, sed vince in bono malum. (In German: Do not let yourself be overcome (defeated) by evil, but overcome evil through good! ) ( Rom 12.21  EU ).
