Alba Maiolini
Alba Maiolini (born July 15, 1916 in Rome , † March 1, 2005 there ) was an Italian actress .
Maiolini was one of the numerous actors who were referred to in Italian cinema as "Generici" or "Generiche"; So they were small actors trained in the acting field, who appeared in countless roles in all kinds of films, but were rarely mentioned in the opening or closing credits. Maiolini played such roles regularly from 1959 to 1991; so far she has been identified in almost 150 films.
She was seen as Medusa in Kadmos - Tyrant of Thebes , as Milva in Adua and her companions, and as Sara in Women Behind Bars in early larger roles. She had small appearances u. a. in The Right and Left Hand of the Devil as one of the Mormon women and in the comedy Un sacco bello as Mother Superior. Best known among fans is her role as the zombie woman in Zombies Among Cannibals .
In addition to her filmic work, Maiolini was often active for radio broadcasts and dubbed numerous works.
The actresses Claudia and Paola Majolini are her daughters.
