Albert Gürtner

Albert Gürtner (* 1960 ) is a Bavarian local politician ( Free Voters Bavaria ). It is 2020 since May 1, district administrator of the district Pfaffenhofen .

Life

Gürtner completed his studies as a graduate industrial engineer (FH) . Before he was elected district administrator, he worked in this profession at the Hipp company in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm.

Gürtner was a member of the City Council of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm from May 2002 to April 2020 and has been the city's second mayor since May 2008. He has been a member of the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district council since May 2014. He is also district chairman of the Free Voters.

In the local election on March 15, 2020 , he received 20.7% of the votes out of seven applicants and was elected as District Administrator of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm with 51.5% in the runoff election on March 29, 2020.

Gürtner is involved in a variety of voluntary activities, including serving as 1st and 2nd board member of MTV Pfaffenhofen, the largest sports club in the district, for almost 30 years. He regards volunteering as a link in society. His motto is “Listening. Understand. Act."

Gürtner is married and has two grown children.
