Ernst Vetter
Ernst Vetter (* 1906 ; † 1990 ) was provisional district administrator for the district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm from 1945 to 1946 after the Second World War .
Life
Cousin was a lawyer. He became a member of the SPD in 1929 and was a court trainee from 1937 to 1939 . From 1939 to 1945 he was employed at the Food and Economics Office in Erding . In 1943/1944 he was also head of the food and economic office in Pfaffenhofen. Since he was a member of the SPD, he was repeatedly persecuted by the National Socialists .
After the Second World War he was acting district administrator of the Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm district from 1945 to 1946. He initiated the first state conference of the SPD after the war (December 11 and 12, 1945). Among other things, he prevented the evacuation and looting of the houses on the main square in Pfaffenhofen. In 1946 he moved to Munich in the Bavarian Ministry of the Interior and, as Ministerialrat, was head of the administrative and political department and the municipal department. In 1952 he was promoted to ministerial director. From December 14, 1954 to October 16, 1957, he was in Cabinet II of the then Bavarian Prime Minister Wilhelm Hoegner (SPD) as State Secretary responsible for the expansion of the Bavarian road network. Vetter was not a member of the Bavarian state parliament . He was one of the authors of the Bavarian municipal code .
Ernst Vetter died at the age of 84 in a senior citizens' home near Wasserburg . He was buried in Munich- Obermenzing .
