Albert Gsänger

Albert Gsänger (born December 23, 1922 in Nuremberg ; † March 3, 1969 there ) was a German SPD politician .

Life

After attending elementary school, Gsänger completed an apprenticeship as a chimney sweep and worked as a journeyman from the beginning of 1940. In 1941 he was called up for military service and was a member of the Wehrmacht until the end of World War II . After the war he took up his previous profession again, in 1946 he successfully passed the master craftsman examination. In 1955 he was appointed district chimney sweep master, and for two years he was elected deputy head master of the chimney sweep guild of Middle Franconia . In 1951 he became an honorary city councilor in Nuremberg. In the 1962 state elections , he successfully applied for the direct mandate and was a member of the Bavarian state parliament for one electoral term until 1966.

Gsänger left behind his wife and a child.
