Albert L. Zobrist

Albert Lindsey Zobrist (born February 27, 1942 ) is a mathematician and scientist. He's named after him scattering function Zobrist hashing invented. As part of his doctoral thesis, he developed the first Go computer game.

Life

Albert Zobrist received his Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology . His Masters in Mathematics and Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Wisconsin – Madison . He worked at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory and published several books.
