Simon Rhein (born May 18, 1998 in Hilden ) is a German football player . He is under contract with 1. FC Nürnberg .

Career

Rhein began playing football at the SC Unterbach district club in Düsseldorf . As a seven-year-old, Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen took him on in their youth training center, where the midfielder was trained up to the U19s.

For the 2017/18 season, the second division club 1. FC Nürnberg signed him after the former player Dieter Nüssing , who worked in the scouting area of ​​the FCN , made his recommendation. There Rhein first played for the second team in the Regionalliga Bayern , where he quickly became a regular player.
