Patric Klandt (born September 29, 1983 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Klandt, who now plays as a goalkeeper, started playing football at FFV Sportfreunde 04 as a field player, from which he moved to Eintracht Frankfurt as an F-youth and spent six years as a field player in the youth departments of Eintracht. Then he went to VfR Kesselstadt, where he was now used exclusively in the goal and as a B-youth youth Hesse Cup winner . In 2000 he joined Eintracht Frankfurt again and made the leap into the senior sector. In addition, Klandt completed an apprenticeship as an automotive mechatronics technician .

In the regional league season 2002/03 Klandt came on two missions for the second team of Eintracht, but this rose at the end of the season in the Oberliga Hessen . After a subsequent league season in Frankfurt, Klandt then moved to the regional division SV Wehen-Taunusstein in July 2004 , where he played a total of 50 games in the 2004/05 and 2005/06 seasons , displacing Guido Koltermann from the team.

In July 2006, Klandt switched to FC Hansa Rostock as a perspective player . In the 2006/07 season he was part of its second division squad as the third goalkeeper and rose with this to the Bundesliga without having played a game himself. Instead, he played 24 times in the second team in the Oberliga Nordost . In the 2007/08 Bundesliga season Klandt was once again a member of the promoted team, but was not considered as a substitute goalkeeper during the season after the regular goalkeeper Stefan Wächter lost due to illness . He then moved to FSV Frankfurt in the winter break after 12 missions for Hansa's second team in the first half of the season in exchange for their substitute goalkeeper Kenneth Kronholm .

At FSV Frankfurt he ousted Florian Schürenberg as a regular goalkeeper at the beginning of the second half of the season and made 15 appearances during the 2007/08 regional league season, helping to promote promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga. For the second division season 2008/09 , the FSV committed Marjan Petković as another goalkeeper, but coach Tomas Oral decided for Klandt as a regular goalkeeper, so that he made his debut in the second division on the first day of the season. In the 2012/13 season he achieved the club's best placement so far with the team in fourth place. He remained the FSV's regular goalkeeper for eight years and played over 250 competitive games in the 2nd Bundesliga and the DFB Cup.

For the 2015/16 season , Klandt moved to the second division club SC Freiburg on a free transfer . Klandt had his only appearance for SC Freiburg on May 15, 2016 in the second division game against Union Berlin. By 2018 he also played four games for the SC's second team.

During the summer break of 2018, he initially joined 1. FC Nürnberg for one year .
