Tim-Henry Handwerker (born May 19, 1998 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German soccer player . He is under contract with 1. FC Nürnberg and is a young German national player.
Career
society
Craftsman began his career at SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 . In 2007 he moved to the youth team of Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen , where he played for ten years. In the A-Junioren-Bundesliga West, he played a total of 52 games for Bayer 04 Leverkusen's U-19s from 2014 to 2017, scoring six goals. His youth ended in July 2017, and craftsman was taken over into the team's professional squad.
A month later he left the club and moved to league rivals and local rivals 1. FC Köln . In Cologne, he made his second team debut on August 20, 2017 in the Regionalliga West game against Rot-Weiss Essen. In the Bundesliga, he played for 1. FC Köln for the first time on October 1, 2017. He completed eleven missions in the 2017/18 season and was relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga with the club .
In August 2018, the Cologne team awarded him to FC Groningen from the Dutch Eredivisie . There he was a regular player right away and played 31 league games. With the team, craftsmen could qualify for the Europa League playoffs .
After the loan, the defender returned to Cologne, but was signed a few days later for the 2019/20 season by 1. FC Nürnberg , who had been relegated to the 2nd Bundesliga, and given a contract valid until June 2022.

Handwerker has played three times for the DFB's junior national teams .
