Career

society

The goalkeeper began his career in Hütteldorf with the SK Rapid Amateurs as a regular goalkeeper. He was called up for the first time in the team of Rapid in the 2006/07 season in the game against FC Wacker Tirol (2-2) for substitute goalkeeper Raimund Hedl , who was injured at the knee . While Hedl was injured, he sat on the bench as a substitute goalkeeper in all other games. From January 2008 to June 2008 Lukse played on loan at DSV Leoben and then moved to SK Rapid Vienna . In the 2008/09 season Lukse came to his first appearances for Rapid. On May 29, 2009, the goalkeeper was awarded by the Hütteldorfer for the 2009/10 season to SK Sturm Graz, but was not used in the first team.

In summer 2010 he was awarded again and moved to First Vienna FC . Although he had played regularly at Vienna, he had to leave the club after one season. His contract with Rapid expired at the same time and he was initially without a club. In October 2011, Lukse signed a contract with FC Lustenau that was valid until summer 2013.

In January 2013 he moved to SV Kapfenberg , where he stayed until the end of the 2013/14 season. In July 2014 he moved to the Bundesliga promoted SCR Altach , where he became a regular between the posts from summer 2015. Lukse played 88 times for the club in five years in all competitions.

After the 2018/19 season , the goalkeeper left Austria and moved to Germany free of charge to 1. FC Nürnberg , who had been relegated to the second Bundesliga there , where he received a contract that ran until June 2021. From the 10th matchday on, he represented the regular goalkeeper Christian Mathenia, who was injured after a broken kneecap .

National team

At the U20 World Cup in Canada in 2007 , Lukse guarded the goal of the Austrian team in the group game against Canada and in the game for third place against Chile.

In August 2015 he was appointed to the national team by Marcel Koller for the first time on call .

In November 2015 he was in the senior squad for the first time against Switzerland . He finally made his national team debut in November 2016 when he was in the starting line-up in a friendly against Slovakia .

controversy

Lukse and his club colleague at Rapid, René Gartler , were sentenced to fines for nightly antics in the run-up to Christmas 2008 , which in Lukses case amounted to 12,000 euros. Furthermore, both received a written warning from the management of their association.
