Hanno Behrens (born March 26, 1990 in Elmshorn ) is a German soccer player who has been under contract with 1. FC Nürnberg since 2015 .

Career

Behrens began playing football at FC Elmshorn , the club in his birthplace, and in 2005 moved to the youth department of Hamburger SV . There he moved from the U-17 to the U-19 youth team in 2007 and to the second team in 2008. For the 2009/10 season he was appointed to the professional squad of HSV, in which he remained until the 2011/12 season, but was never used. Instead, he played a total of 80 games in the Regionalliga Nord and scored eight goals.

For the 2012/13 season , Behrens moved to third division club SV Darmstadt 98 , for whom he played his first third division game on August 8, 2012 (4th matchday) - on in the 56th minute for Elton da Costa - and scored the goal to make it 1: 3 -The final score at Chemnitzer FC . With the SV Darmstadt he managed in the season 2013/14 promotion to the 2. Bundesliga, where in the following season promotion to the Bundesliga succeeded.

For the 2015/16 season , Behrens moved to 1. FC Nürnberg , where he was appointed the new captain for the 2017/18 season and extended his contract, which originally ran until June 30, 2018, to an unknown period. For all these reasons it was clear to me that I wanted to stay with the club ” .

With Nuremberg he rose to the first Bundesliga at the end of the 2017/18 season. There he scored his first goal in the Bundesliga with a penalty in the 3-0 home win against Fortuna Düsseldorf on September 29, 2018 (6th matchday).
